F. Hoffmann-La ROCHE AG is a global pharmaceutical group that manufactures medicaments and medical devices and researches in the fields of oncology, virology and transplantation medicine.
During a university project in the 4th and 5th semester, my project group worked on the creation of an innovative interface design for ROCHE. This „cockpit interface“ which is installed at several places throughout the building is supposed to help shape the communication and information sharing as well as the team organization within the company.
The interface makes it possible to switch between a light and a dark design depending on the use. Various infographics show ROCHE KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). By selecting filters, products and time periods can be selected accordingly and the display of the KPIs can be interactively changed.
As part of the project, we’ve invited selected employees for a user test. For this purpose, we’ve used Tobii eyetracking glasses and the participants were asked to complete different real life use case scenarios.
The project took place in cooperation with the IT department at the ROCHE headquarters in Grenzach-Wyhlen (Switzerland).
